Grey Library..

Oh my goodness can you imagine the hours you could spend here, just reading and browsing..
I think there should be an extremely comfortable lounge some where just across from this to use as needed!

Day Dreaming...

I am day dreaming of a sweet little apartment in the heart of Paris just like this one.  Instead of being here enjoying baguettes, cheese and wine, we are taking pictures for our upcoming One Kings Lane sale today.  It is amazing how much work goes into a sale.  Everyone at OKL is really great and a real joy to work with which is so nice to see in a growing company like theirs.

Wishing you a wonderful day filled with dreams like this little beauty.. I suppose we have to work hard to get to a place like this one, right?

this week I am loving..

It is funny there are some weeks when inspiration eludes me and then there are some where it is everywhere and I cannot keep it straight!  I am absolutely loving everything here!  I love vintage chairs and their time worn look, the lovely layers of grey from Atelier de Campagne, and Lauren at Pure Style Home's new textile line.
Do you ever find too much inspiration?  I like to take mine and store it away for a day when I am feeling a little out of sorts and use it to get me back on track!

Versailles in detail...

These are just a few of the images from our visit to Versailles.  It was amazing the amount of detail
that went into each room.  The doors were my all time favorite and the hardware was beautiful!

If you are traveling to Paris I highly recommend a visit to Versailles.  I may even go back again and skip the main house first thing to avoid the crowds and head straight for the smaller buildings and the garden.

It took us all day to explore the area and we were exhausted afterwards, but it was totally worth it..

Into a fairytale...

Slipping off to Paris and France in general is like stepping into a fairy tale for me.
The Hubby cannot quite understand my fascination with the city and I
have a hard time putting it into words...

Flying right now!!
