I am feeling a lot better today.   Barely got that post off before the flu hit me..

So much to do... so little time..  I will be searching for inspiration for a bunch of new projects that I am starting for the first part of the year today.  Please forgive me if I am slow to answer emails and get back to messages...  I working on catching up too....

Setting the Christmas table...

 

Are you hosting a Christmas dinner?  I am having family over for Christmas eve.. I have been thinking of a different way to set the table..  candles and white and linen is what I am thinking.

Holiday wishes!

 

With only a few days until Christmas I am ready to finish up getting ready and get down to enjoying.  I think that the rush of shipping packages and orders is almost finished up... now time to do a little baking with the kids and wrap up all of the Christmas joy!

Gorgeous workspace!  I love all of the natural light which is a must for me!  Humm I don't see a spot for the computer though..  maybe on the other side of the room??

  I think I might go by the flea market in Pasadena and see if I can plan a little picnic with the family...

Good Monday Morning!

I trust you had a good weekend and a well celebrated Father's day.

We had a simi impromptu dinner here last night and I would say that it went fairly smoothly.  I think that we should entertain more often.  I am not sure that this space would put me at ease though!

It is very beautiful but the thought of all of that white scares me a little!

What about you do you entertain?  Do you enjoy it?

In the garden...

 

I sent this photo to my husband last week... Can we do this? 

I simply love everything about this space- it has Hydrangea, my favorite flower, ivy growing on the walls, yes please, and privacy, um we need some!

It just seems so clean and inviting.  

I ran out of time to work in the garden this weekend... maybe another day.

garden secrets..

Sometimes I find that when I take a minute to see things in a different light  I can really find 

inspiration..

We visited some really beautiful gardens while we were in France and I must say that I have a whole new idea of how I want to transform what I have..

So far my garden has basically remained untouched for the past 3 years, simply because I was not sure what exactly we should do with it.  Now I am inspired and hopefully will take some action!

These gardens have been cared for deeply maybe that is what I need a loving hand to make it work.
