Sometimes when the New Year rolls around I find myself aching for a change..  something like this sweet little grey velvet tufted sofa would do the trick I think!!!  So so cute... I love it~

Holiday wishes!

 

With only a few days until Christmas I am ready to finish up getting ready and get down to enjoying.  I think that the rush of shipping packages and orders is almost finished up... now time to do a little baking with the kids and wrap up all of the Christmas joy!

I was browsing through pinterest and found this little beauty..  I know I have seen it before but wow does it look perfectly wonderful right now.  I so cannot wait to take a much needed break from the holiday frenzy that has been my life for the past week...  Friday Friday Friday.. ( I know it is Thursday - but Friday will be sooooo nice!)

I heard that Windsor Smith will be coming out with a new fabric line in the Spring- I am very excited to see it!

Dressed up for Christmas..

We had some freinds over on Saturday night for a holiday dinner party so I spent most of the morning with my daughter decorating the tree and the rest of the house.  We are ready now.. bring on the Christmas.  I just have to wrap up some gifts and finish a bit of shopping before I can completely relax and kick my feet up (as if that will ever happen).    I changed things up a little this year but it is generally the same as the last..

By Invitation: enchanted evening...

The invitations have been sent and we are off to an little holiday party...  I am so excited to get all dressed up and have a lovely time with my friends!  (I hope no one minds if I over do it a little- I don't get out much...) 

 

We don't ever want to forget a gift for the hostess and a little something for the other guests too..  macarons to be enjoyed at the party and a little something for her to enjoy while relaxing after everyone has gone home...

Jill Sharp Brinson Loft...

 

When I came across these pictures of Jill's husband's studio I was smitten!  Just like I was when I saw her house in House Beautiful.  The natural light is just amazing and the mix of vintage is perfection!

This space seems so easy on the eyes simple and clean where you could just open up the laptop and get some things done.  It is nothing like my desk that is covered in papers and misc little things that my kids have made and given to me. 

I love the finish on the table and the key is the fresh flowers I think!

this week I am loving..

 

 

It is funny there are some weeks when inspiration eludes me and then there are some where it is everywhere and I cannot keep it straight!  I am absolutely loving everything here!  I love vintage chairs and their time worn look, the lovely layers of grey from Atelier de Campagne, and Lauren at Pure Style Home's new textile line.  

Do you ever find too much inspiration?  I like to take mine and store it away for a day when I am feeling a little out of sorts and use it to get me back on track!
