Christmas in style with Jill Sharp Brinson

I think I am ready now.. I need a little rest but we will be getting our tree this afternoon and decorating the house.  I am a pretty simple holiday decorator...  I love Jill Sharp's home in these pictures from Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles.  It is just that natural bit that makes it seem so special.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend full of holiday parties and decorating...

Light and bright {a favorite}

So you know how you love a photo of a room and you are a little surprised when you see the entire space, well I am sure you have seen this one before but I came across all of the photos together on pinterest and I am so in love with this space still!!!  It is so dreamy!

It was featured in Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles back in 2007 and it is still one of my all time favorites so many years later.

Happy Saturday!!

Dark and detailed, I am completely in love..

From the very first picture I was in love.  The color scheme is dark and moody and I love it!  It feels so very fall.  I have been leaning towards lighter design lately but I know my true love when I see it and this is some of my favorite color inspiration.  Not to mention the mix of industrial and vintage - so amazing!

Wishing you a wonderful Saturday!

greige lakeside by Tracery

Tracery Interiors always makes a beautiful statement and this home is no exception!  This lake house was featured in Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles last month!  I love the dramatic height and the soft pallet...

Life is in the details..

There are some days that I wonder...

Why why why?

Why do we go to all the trouble?  ah... because life is in the details....

Happy Saturday!

Bronze with black

So I will admit it- I fell hard for this space.  There was just something about the bold colors against the black walls that did it for me.  Not to mention the little beauties all over the shelves in here, the brass flowers.  Loved it so much I had to find them and and share them with you....  Aren't they super fun??

Clean lines in a brown and white kitchen..

Isn't this fun??? What a great kitchen.

Can you tell when I have a certain thing on my mind.

I am working on a kitchen project of course!

Loving the feel of the sea in this space.  It is but it is not at the same time..

Soft and relaxing.. that's what I need.

I fell in love with the feeling of this home. The soft colors and overall relaxed feeling - I need this more in my life....more relaxing. You?

The first image is my favorite!  I just used it for inspiration for a client project....
