And I had been warmed to them even more by Ed's comments to someone on 6 Music, probably Lamacq, that they weren't surprised about being nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. They thought they were the sort of band that would be. Great self-awareness, no pointless, cliched humility. Fuck that.
